Becca's Review: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs(1937)

Well this is a great classic I've grown up with, but I've never been a huge fan. Snow White is really annoying... She isn't very pretty(I don't know why the magic mirror found her so fair?!) and her voice is just annoying. The witch just freaks me out. Ever since I was little I've pictured the devils face as the face of that creepy old hag! And what is up with the prince's girly looks? But beyond all of that I love the dwarfs! Especially Grumpy and Dopey! They are so cute and funny. And come on, how could you not love those cute little woodland creatures? I really like the storyline and for some reason I love it when she bakes the pie and the little birds make the prints around the edges... don't ask me why. The comedy of Walt Disney once again leaves me in awe:) Overall it's a great film.

Cassidy's review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Okay, so our second movie was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I'm not really a huge fan of the movie, but since I've recently learned about it, i am really way more impressed. Snow White was the first full length animated film. that is pretty impressive. and it is really good quality too. it took $1.5 million to make as well. it really is a great movie, but Snow White just bugs me. she is just too....i don't even know... but she is definitely my least favorite princess. ignoring that fact though, this really is an amazingly made movie, and the dwarfs are hilarious :). i give Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs a 7.5 out of 10. After all, it did win numerous awards, and it really is a good story and a very well made movie.

On to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

Cassidy's Review: The Academy Award Review of Walt Disney Cartoons

Well, I personally loved the cartoons! They were so funny, and i love the kind of humor that Disney uses that never gets old. i think my least favorite cartoon would have to be the flowers and the trees...or something like that.... it was sweet and funny at moments but i liked the ones with words much better. i also think i would have like the three orphan kittens one if we could have found an English version. but that's okay :) i agree with Becca that the later full length features are mush better, but these were amazing too. Walt Disney had such a huge influence on the world, and even his earliest cartoons are spectacular. i give the Academy Award Review a 7 out of 10.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!
APRIL FOOLS!!!!
I thought it was really good. The cartoons were really cute and The Three Little Pigs was so funny! It wasn't as good as the later Disney films that are actually full length features instead of a bunch of shorts but for the first of Disney's movies to go to theaters and a movie made mostly to promote Snow White I have to say it was really great. Disney had a great sense of humor:)
